In the 4 man (Lee Johnston / Karl Johnston / Allyn Condon / Julien Hughes-John), we had a poor start with a 19th on the first run, but after the 4th quickest start on the second run and an awesome down time, we found ourselves in 7th position with 4 sleds to go (meaning a worse place finish of 10th and a 7th on the world rankings).
But a bit of bad luck when the organisers cancelled the meeting due to irregular snow which meant all second runs were cancelled and we was given a 19th placing. All the team were very disappointed with the outcome. This week Dan was admitted to hospital with septicaemia, after smashing his elbow so Lee and myself done two man, unfortunately we were 17kg light on the sled and finished a disappointing 21st.
We are looking to have a big 4 man run tomorrow and get back in the top 10/12 to keep our Olympic qualification on track. I hope you have seem some of the footage as we have had the spiked logo on Eurosport quite a few times. We have also got some awesome photos on the way for you and hopefully a good result.

Great start to the season
Just to let you know lee and dan won the 2 man by a massive 1.7 seconds on friday and lee, Karl, Julian and myself won the 4 man by over 6 tenths of a second on the saturday. During the 4 man we pushed the fastest ever push start time by a british team in cesana. It was a good start to the season and now we have moved on to winterberg for the first world cup race on the 28th november. I have included a file with some photos on for you and will send some more when we get them of our other sponsor. Also on some of the photographs there is 4 lads without spiked kit on these were the celebrity lads doing the program for bbc so thought it would be nice to get a photo with them with our kit on.
